NORTHAMPTON, Pa. – It was a big day Sunday for sisters making their movie directorial debut.

The movie Epiphany has already won awards at film festivals in Florida and New Jersey, and now sisters Koula Sossiadis Kazista and Katina Sossiadis have brought the film to the Lehigh Valley.

The Roxy Theatre in Northampton was sold out for the Sunday showing.

“We weren’t sure at first, we weren’t sure how it was going to work but it would be like pages going back and forth. We’re very different people innately, but for some reason when it came to film we see eye to eye,” said Koula Sossiadis Kazista.

Epiphany is about a teen in Florida trying to reconnect with her negligent father.

The sisters, who grew up in the Lehigh Valley, say they are currently writing a second movie and it will be filmed in Bethlehem.
